Position Overview

Motley-Motley is seeking an experienced Traffic Control Supervisor to lead and manage traffic control operations on active job sites. This role is critical to maintaining safety, efficiency, and compliance while supporting paving, construction, and maintenance crews.

Responsibilities

• Plan, set up, and oversee traffic control layouts in accordance with project plans and local/state regulations

• Supervise traffic control personnel and ensure proper placement of signs, cones, barricades, and flagging operations

• Coordinate with project managers, operators, and crews to maintain safe traffic flow

• Conduct safety briefings and ensure compliance with company and DOT standards

• Inspect traffic control setups and make adjustments as needed throughout the workday

• Maintain documentation and report any incidents or safety concerns

  
  

Qualifications

• Prior experience in traffic control supervision or roadway construction

• Strong understanding of traffic control plans, MUTCD standards, and jobsite safety

• Leadership skills with the ability to manage crews in fast-paced environments

• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license

• Flagger or traffic control certification preferred
